'Michigan Rain' was Gregg Alexander's first solo album. Don't recall a band ever being described in the piece on New Radicals in 'Classic Rock'.
'Michigan Rain' was released through A&M in 1989 and was produced by Rick Nowels and featured session players like Kenny Aronoff on drums, John Pierce on bass and guitar contributions from Michael Landau.
Alexander later signed to Epic and released 'Intoxifornication' in 1992. However, five of the ten tracks had previously been released on 'Michigan Rain'.
Daniele Brisbois made her first contribution to an Alexander record on this second album. THe girl vocals on the first record came from N'Dea Davenport with additional support from Sandy Stewart and Maria Vidal!
'Classic Rock' did report more recently (Dave R again) that Gregg was working on songs with Geri Halliwell for her new album!
