About the cover, yes. But having played the new album continually today I don' t think it's that bad at all. Still sounds like Aerosmith to me. The vocal harmonies are there, Joe and Brad still sound great, Tyler's in as good form as ever. I wouldn't say it leapt out and bit my ass growling 'CLASSIC' at the same time, but then some of the best albums grow don't they?
Some of the great AOR classics have come from contributions from outside writers don't forget, Des Child, Dianne Warren, Bob Halligan Jnr.
