Can't judge on EMN, I'm afraid.

Drivin'n'Crying's not really my thing ; I like about 2 songs on each of their albums but can't really care about the rest, so I guess I shouldn't be commenting on that either.

D2-s/t can be regarded as a 'classic', although some of the lyrics are indeed a bit simple/childish. The music makes up for it, though. Some happy rock songs, some more laid back tunes & the occasional ballad ... a recommended buy.

Thunder-LOJD: don't know what YOU can compare this to, but compared with their debut album (Backstreet Symphony) the songwriting is more complex & acoustically tinged, but by no means inferior! It's not as dark as 'Behind Closed Doors' was. This album is my personal fave o'theirs, but don't let that misguide you.
There's only one track on this album I don't like, and that's 'Empty City'. The rest of the songs range from great to phenomenal.
I'd say go buy on this one as well.

My 0.02's worth...

Rocket!
Sven.
