MUCH better than Bon Jovi-Bon Jovi...an album that was more like a demo than anything else.

Best song on 7800 is "Hardest Part Is The Night" , More than anything else 7800 reminded me of Paul Laine's best stuff, you can reall hear the influence in Stick It In Your Ear and Can't Get Enuff. I think the main problem that people have with "the forgotten two" (S/T and 7800) is that there is a heavy reliance on moody keyboard driven ballads. Bon Jovi and 7800 are NOT happy albums (as discussed in the Behind The Music) they are darker albums than the good time rock of later years (except for These Days). But still worthy of praise. Jon's voice was never better in those days.
