Now & Then / Frontiers News - 18 May 2000

Frontiers Records & Now & Then Productions are happy to confirm that
TERRY BROCK has struck a worldwide deal to release his first solo album
in the year 2001 with the Anglo-Italian label!

After the completion of THE SIGN album (which is expected by the end of
May), Terry will start writing and recording for his CD which will be
named after a song that Terry has written with JIM PETERIK (of Survivor
fame) called "Back To Eden".

"I believe my solo CD will be a bit more straightforward, with elements
of The Sign, but not quite as musically challenging", says Terry, "being
a guitar player, my CD shall be a bit more guitar-vocal driven, rather
than the more band-driven The Sign"

The CD shall feature a number of Classic and Melodic Rock veterans,
including the above mentioned Jim Peterik, Ian Hatton and Jason Bonham
(from Bonham), Billy Greer and hopefully other KANSAS members, Kenny
Aaronson (Billy Idol, HSAS), Jim Odom (LeRoux), Randy Jackson (Zebra),
the amazing Mark Mangold, Bob Held (Joe Lynn Turner) and Jeff Golub
(Billy Squier).

Terry will also be contacting other old friends like Steve Morse (Deep
Purple) and Hughie Thomasson (Outlaws, Skynyrd). Possible duets,
depending on availabilty, scheduling and desire are : Hugo, Joe Lynn
Turner, Johnny Van Zant and John Fiore.

Some of the song titles are "Back to Eden", "I Should've Known", a
magnificent ballad written with Nashville writer Frank Fogerty (which
will be featured in its demo form on the forthcoming compilation "UNION
vol. 3"); "Waiting", written with famed UK session drummer Tony Beard;
"Money Or Love", the possible duet with Joe Lynn Turner, "I Wanna Love
Someone", an uptempo song originally written for a project with Adrian
Vandenberg; "Your Man Again", written with noted songwriter Rafe Van Hoy
and "Fire on the Bayou", written with Jim Odom of LeRou.

Guitarist Stuart Smith is currently recording the follow up album to his
critically acclaimed solo album, "Heaven & Earth" at The Wine Cellar
studios in Los Angeles.

It is being produced by Howard Leese from Heart and will be released
worldwide on Frontiers Records in November this year. Stuart hopes this
will be more of a band project and the line up will be Stuart
Smith/guitar, Richie Onori/Drums, Arlan Schellenbaum/Hammond. Bass
duties are being shared between Howard Leese (who also played bass on
some of Heart's tracks as well as guitars) and Marvin Sperling from the
"Aliens of Extraordinary Ability."

As of yet, no singer has been confirmed as Kelly Hansen had to decline
the offer due to his commitment with other projects.

Eight songs have been recorded so far with the following titles :
"Politician" ; "Worlds Apart" ; "Through Your Eyes" ; "Prisoner"(written
by Stuart with Ritchie Blackmore) ; "Dogs of War" ; "I Don't Need No
Doctor"; "Out in the Cold" plus one song which is still untitled. Other
songs which will be included on the cd are "Heavy" written with Joe Lynn
Turner) and "I Will Never Let You Go".
