I have 'The Right to Rock' reissue and while it's great that it's been preserved on cd the sound quality is abysmal. It's like Gene pulled out a Radio Shack tape recorder and just said, "guys start playing". I mean I know this was recorded in 1985 but I've heard other recordings from that year that sound at least 80% better.I emailed the guy that runs Metal Mayhem and he stated that the band opted to not remaster it and leave it the way it was originally recorded. While I respect their decision I don't necessarily agree with it. This album does kick major ass but it's ashame that the quality is so poor. I can't even blast this in my car it sounds that bad! Buy it if you wish but don't expect it to sound to good.
