For whatever reason (either a surfeit of taste or lack of it - you decide) I could only ever get on with FM's very AOR period. Maybe I just won't work hard enough to dig into the musical genius in their discs. Same with Eloy. Nice and I wouldn't turn it off but not immediate enough for me, does that make me shallow?? Mostly the same for all the bands mentioned above excpet Pallas who I think would / could have been a great UK pomp band if they'd been allowed to develop.
