This is not a hoax, however it is only a rumor at this point.

KROQ-FM in Los Angeles is holding it's annual Weenie Roast Concert on June 17th at Edison International Field of Anaheim (Formally known as Anaheim Stadium). Stadium officials have been told that one of the bands on the lineup is none other than Van Halen.

If this is true, more than likely VH would be there as a surprise band, making a big announcement. Seems right in line with the David Lee Roth rumors. Why else would VH show up at this point?

While none of this is confirmed, don't be surprised if VH is back with Roth five weeks from tomorrow.


One last tidbit: KISS played a tuneup concert for their reunion tour at the 1996 Weenie Roast.
