Alias recorded two more album tracks ("Into the Fire" from Nintendo White Knuckle Scoring and "Perfect World" from the Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead soundtrack) but never released a full-length follow-up to their brilliant 1990 debut. Lead singer Freddy Curci re-surfaced in 1994 with a solo album "Dreamer's Road" that was only released in Canada. It can best be described as Alias-lite. Still, the material was strong and gained notoriety by the fact that a then-barely known Alanis Morissette contributed backing vocals to Curci's cover of Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl". As well, former Alias guitarist Steve DeMarchi was a prominent figure on "Dreamer's Road". Following another protracted silence, Freddy emerged in 2000 with a career retrospective CD: "Then and Now", which features 2 newly recorded tracks and several unreleased Italian versions of older tunes.
