RE: DAN HUFF ~ Giant Vocalist (help)

In the early days, Dann played guitar in a band called White Heart. They were more progressive than hard rock. If you're into instrumental music, he recently released a disc in Japan of guitar solos from his White Heart days. The sound and quality are a bit dated, but Dann can play like nobody else. He's a Nashville native and has stuck close to home. You can find his name amongst the producer credits of some of the biggest country acts around, including Lonestar and Faith Hill. Dann and his brother David (Giant drummer) wrote and produced a couple of CDs for John Schlitt (ex-Head East). They are christian rock CDs, but they are rock. And if you don't object to hearing no so subtle innuendos about Jesus, you should track them down. Schlitt is an excellent musician. Check out www.allmusic.com for a list of (almost) everything Dann has played on or produced. You'll find hundreds of discs with his name on them, but none compare to Giant.
