I have heard the Crue demos for their new release,3 of them actually and I heard
the new Metallica song from MI2.Metallica's new one doesn't stand with any of the Crue demos.I can't wait to get the new Crue cd when its out.If Metallica wants to survive,if it's not to late, their gonna have to do something great.I don't know if they can. It's been quite awhile since they have.Metallica also has the right to do what they are doing against the Napster and The 300,000 people.I hate to see Napster go because I do use it,but not for that purpose.I use it for demo's,unreleased and long forgotten b-sides you can't get/find anymore. What about the cd's,lp's or cass. that are npw long out of print.Example would be Black N Blue,In Heat was never released in the States on cd,but I have seen it on Napster.Nobody is taking money from them if it's downloaded.I would gladly pay a monthly fee to be on Napster for this use.I wish and hope that somehow they can monitor what's being transfered and block the user's who are violating infringement laws.I know you own your own store Surfpunk and I'm sure you already know, that is if your in the States, that the Federal Trade Commission is cracking down on the Record Labels
to lower the prices they charge to dealers.Which will save consumers something like 13 million dollars a month?I think that was the total.I can see how you are upset with Napster because I am trying to open my own store where I live and I wouldn't want people getting stuff for free and then coming to me and stealing my stuff to finish what was stolen in the first place.
