One trick pony as opposed to what? My guess is they're (still) a lot more successful than most "serious" bands out there. While I'm not really digging what they're doing either, everything they do is done well and of quality. It's just about the only hair metal band out there that has that authentic 80's look and feel. Their videos are of high production quality and would fit seamlessly into MTV's heydays. I think that's their main appeal. You look at those 10-buck videos from Frontiers et al and want to throw up.
