Hi guys and thank you for your interest. I’ll try to keep it brief but basically a few years ago I got hurt at work and it resulted in some nerve issues in several places notably my right wrist. I’m at the point now where I can play through the pain for a very short time before I have to lay off for a few days.
I have been stockpiling some riffs that have potential and they may turn into something down the road. I’m not sure if that means maybe doing a new song here or there or a whole new album with my buddy John Kivel. We live pretty close to each other so we hang out and I play him some ideas from time to time and we’ve talked about art concepts etc. for a potential new record. He has a lot of cool ideas!! He’s really been a good friend and incredibly supportive as well.
For me personally right now it’s all wishful thinking, but a goal I’m working towards. I would like to get a song done though just to knock the rust off if nothing else. We will see what happens I guess.
It’s ironic. After all these years my guitar playing is causing ME pain instead of the unsuspecting public! ;-) But seriously, thank you all again for remembering Dear Sanity. We are all very proud of that album and I’m glad so many others enjoy it as well.
All the best,
