Fave singers...

Coverdale (up til about 84 - now he's just a nasal whine and despite a great opening the new album is pooh)
Hughes (Glenn - not anyone else!) - always
Lande (easily the best hard rock singer these days)
Valensia
Valentine
Brad Love of Aviary
Thom Griffin of Trillion - one album but what a legacy
Phil Mogg - lovely enunciation
definitely NOT Perry or any of the millions of Perry-alikes
NOT Mark Free
NOT Kelly Hansen
NOT Jeff Scott Soto
NOT Leif Sundin
NOT Keith Slack
NOT Jimi Jamison
definitely absolutely NOT James Christian, although I'm always playing the 45 he did with Jasper Wrath "General Gunther"

That's probably it for favourites (though there's bound to be someone I forgot in a hurry) but I like others too, Dave Bickler was a massive vocal talent, Freddy Curci once in a while, Kevin Gilbert but I think it's his songs not his singing, Joe Lynn Turner, Gillan , Bonnet ... loads really ... I'm glad you like what Bob does now and you obviously rate Mr Gary Hughes' songs better than I do. I think when Magnum lost their folkyacoustic edge and went pop they stopped making music that was "different".
