It would appear to be the only logical explanation, yes, but I must admit it still bugs me: Why would I recall something more complex if the real explanation was that much simpler? ...I guess we'll never know.

Re Europe yes On Broken Wings should've been added or even on Final Countdown for sure...great track.

It's cool to hear that the tune has other fans out there! I believe it's another case of a tune not quite fitting the mood of the rest of the album, and I must admit I do have a problem finding a place for it in the running order. Doesn't excuse Sony/Legacy missing it for the remaster, though! ;-)
