Great - you r visiting the Emerald Isle

I live near a town called Newry (near the 'border')

Dublin - visit the Temple Bar area - has a great buzz about it (nightlife, bars , cafes etc)

We love the Dun Laoghaire area (South Dublin) - its great for walks, coastal scenery and cafes and shops - its a fairly wealthy area of Dublin (think U2 live around there somewhere - Def Leppard live in and around there too - 'Stepside'area or something like that) - in that area there is also the Dundrum shopping centre - try to remember to forget your credit card that day (especially if wife, girlfriend or kids are with you - lol)

South of Dublin is the Powerscourt Estate - grand old building and gardens if you like that and walks

There is an activity park north of Dublin called Tayto Park .
Dublin Zoo has a good reputation as a great zoo - i havent been.

Kilarney has great scenery

There's lots up north around Belfast and The Giants Causeway (north coast)

If you PM me I can give u my contact details for more info etc.

enjoy your trip
