I guess I to some degree understand you Ramsey, but there's something about the vibe of the songs and the way they benefit from the rougher 70's like production IMO.

Me on the other hand can't say I have much appreciation for the albums released prior to TBOJH, in fact they bore me a bit. I admit not being his biggest fan. To me that as much to do with the fact that I can only tolerate his whiny voice in small doses, as it does that I find his earlier material less interesting.

But yeah, of course the man have given us some great music - just wish he had someone else singing them for the most part....
