The 1st is a melodic hard rock classic. Everything about it is great, the songs, the playing, production and Free's vocals. It rocks big time.
Thrill is a different kettle of fish. The 1st 5 tracks are good AOR but light on the power chords of the debut. The vocals make them worth having. The title track is a
really bouncy summertime type song but has annoying out of tune keys on it which really piss me off. The next 5 songs are for me much better.
There is the theme from the Iron Eagle soundtrack which is good uptempo AOR
with a touch more energy in the guitar department ( still not enough though really ).
Then there is Home Street Home which is a funk rock type song with rap style
vocals in the verses. This is great altough a lot of people aren't too keen as it is a
bit of a departure. The cd ends with 3 great hard rock tracks in the vein of the debut.
This album was directed by the record company in an attempt to gain sales. Sadly
it failed.
KK3 is a much harder album in the style of the debut but with Johhny Edwards on vocals who was no match for Free even though he is a good singer.
There is also a recent cd with unreleased stuff ( not all of it ) stuff which is worth getting but it is not brilliant.
