I know a lot of people picked up Ted Poley's "Acoustica" CD at the Gods, because it was advertised as being sold at this particular event only, sort of like a collectors item, I guess. I picked up a copy for a friend. A couple of months later, the same album gets released again - with the addition of five or six bonus tracks! Thus screwing all the loyal fans who thought they had purchased a rarity. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for to making these albums available to as many people as possible, especially to all the fans overseas who couldn't travel to the Gods. But then please don't advertise it as a "one time offer" kinda deal. I suspect the people involved knew exactly that this album would see an official release eventually. I'm not out to get Ted or anybody else. Just be aware, the day will come when the few people still listening to this type of music won't take these marketing shemes anymore.
