Hi Carl,

Praying Mantis were the best huh? I remember you raving about Diamond Head about 20 years ago because you thought Sean Harris sounded like Michael Lee Smith. White Spirit were one of the classiest acts around at that time, although musically I thought they were more Deep Purple/Rainbow than NWOBHM.

As for The Godz, the first was about half good, especially Under The Table and Cross Country but I wouldn't even think about listening to the likes of Gotta Keep A Runnin' now. Nothing Is Sacred is one of the worst albums I have in my collection, only the riff to Luv Cage saves it from being worse than Karen Lawrence & The Pinz, or The Visitors - No Sign Of Intelligent Life.

Have a good Christmas,

Phil
