Actually ... it's rather excellent. The name of the band (actually the lead man ex-Gentrys) was D. Beaver. There is a track on it that, IMPO, betters anything Jamison has ever done "The Wizard of Menlo Park". He doesn't sing on that one but it's indicative of the well crafted songwriting you'll find on it. Overall, I'd say it's an excellent album. The Target albums are much more bluesy hard rock and while I agree they're not top of my playlist there are some good songs and for me I'd certainly let me JJ era Survivor albums go before them ....
