3 out of 4! Not bad

Thank You M.R.!

I recently read 3 of your reviews on ATTRACTION,VON GROOVE and STONE ANGEL. I also took a chance on DANNY DANZI since i hear alot about him on this board. Well atleast 3 out of 4 rocked my cd player!! Attraction , being the BEST WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! I havn't heard such GREAT PRODUCTION on an album in a long time. It probably sounded the best out of all 4 disc's I bought. I proably have to say that the VONGROOVE was equally good, with STONE ANGEL a close behind. I have to say though, I was really disapointed with the DANNY DANZI. I was expecting much more in both the songs and the production. Anyway, thanks for turning me onto 3 great bands MELODIC ROCK!!! Me and my stereo owe you BIG TIME!!

LONG LIVE M.R.!!

RE: Thanks guys...DANNY DANZI/ATTRACTION

Thanks Andrew for the tip! I DON'T hate the DANNY DANZI album, I actually like the songs. I just thought they would have been better. I was really disapointed in the production. I think that is one of the reasons why I like the ATTRACTION better. It is the TOTAL package in my opinion. GREAT SONGS AND AWESOME PRODUCTION! If DANNY IS READING, I highly recommend the people that produced their album. Cant wait to see who you review next M.R.com! So far you guys are batting a 1000!!

Thanks!
C-MAN

Thanks guys...

Thank you 100% for the feedback.
To me the reviews are the pivotal point of the whole site and the main way of finding out if a record makes the grade.
I try not to give anything a rating of (90% or higher unless it really deserves it.
I spend more hours reviewing than I do anything else and it's great to get positive feedback.
I have been trying to be harder on the reviews, but there's some great music out there, therefore the corresponding marks.

I have always said that if anyone feels totally ripped off after buying something I recommended and being dissapointed I will find another CD and send it to them.
Can't do much better than that.

And C-Man...give Danzi a few more listens...upto 10 more even! The hooks are there and the album reveals itself slowly.
Also, check out Danny's great new track - a preview of the album to come - when I upload his new track next week. Even better production and better music.

Best regards,
Andrew.

So far no albums which was given more than 90 % review by Andrew disappointed me. Hugo's case (a bit of letdown) the rating was 88 % so the rule still lives on. Thanks to Andrew I could get to know great albums such as Slaves of The New World, Empires and Equilibrium.

Seeing Andrew's review is one of the reason I visit melodicrock com.

Regards

Susumu

Which von groove cd did you get? Can you tell me what its like or compares too. Ive only heard thier cd from 8 or 10 years ago cant even remember the name of it it might have been self titled, but i wasnt very impressed with it at all. I did like the Dani Danzi cd though its not great but its a good cd. You need to try the Johnnie Lima-Shine on cd if you dont have it this is totally excellent. Great catchy songs its one of those cds you cant stop listening to..
