He's probably more recognisable for cheesey 80's films and daytime TV than he is his music, which at best over here extends to Jessie's Girl, and at a push, Human Touch.
Shame really, as he had a pretty good track record for his 1981 - 1987 output. But his work since his comeback (for me) is just stellar, and consistent with it.

But I love Rick Springfield's music and would love to see him in concert.
I can see why one date is all he'd do, he had one minor hit in the UK, so a "full" UK tour (full by most old bands standards means 2 - 4 shows) would probably not be financially feasible. But London... I don't think i'll be making the trip.

Shit time for gigs. Between this and Fleetwood Mac (my top of the list Must See band) selling out in 2 minutes and the only seating available being around £329 per ticket... pretty pissed off :-(
Thank God for Sad Cafe in Selsey, I get to go camping and see one of my favourite bands!
