Steve Lukather - New Interview at Classic Rock Revisited

http://www.classicrockrevisited.com/show_interview.php?id=932

This is an interesting read. I had a few heated exchange of emails with Mr. Lukather back in 2008. He got back in touch in 2010 following a Toto thread on this very board, and I must say he had changed quite a bit, in a good way. I guess the drinking was taking its toll and he was back on the right track in 2010.

This interview explains quite a few things that bothered me about him, and really made it very difficult to go over his personality and enjoy his playing.

Good to hear he is in a good place again. To overcome addiction and stay clean is an everyday struggle. I wish him many more years of sobriety, and music!

Steve is way to humble about his guitar playing. I think he's fantastic and has great musical taste!

Paul

Steve has had his "differences" with quite a few people over the years, if I read the interview correctly between the lines :-)
