whatever people think of bret, songs of life showed he could write some good rocking solo songs and some with deep lyrics..solid album top to bottom

its just a shame that in the last 5-7 years with all his exposure on tv that he solo and also with poison have not tried to reallly capitalize on it......i mean they do tour well and maybe thats what they will do for the next 15 years ...
