Queensryche @ The Ritz, Manchester

Just read that Queensryche are playing The Ritz in Manchester on April 18th. Can anyone shed any light on this or if they know of more dates?

Which version of the band is it? Hopefully not the Tate one but I think his version is touring the US at the same time right?

Cheers,

A band in their 50's (ish) with a 20 year old singer may not be the best fit..

JSS in Journey??? Did a great job but I'm not certain he'd hit the notes now on Mother Father with the same near schoolboy approach that Perry did back in the early 80's.

Todd has done a cracking job on the likes of 'Queen of the Ryche' etc

At some point, the band need to be who they are in the current day. Todd is old enough and mature enough to write songs that suit the band of their age but also do the early material enough justice.

That's my 5p worth.

Sure he's better than Tate is these days but it's certainly not a patch on Tate in his pomp. LOL

Where as BMG used to just have one continuing show in one city, now they have become a company that has several shows in several cities at the same time with different members. I seriously think DeGarmo should just go ahead and put together a third Queensryche to make things even more of a joke! :)
