I paid about 30 quid for my MFSL one, a long time ago...I can rip you a copy if you like, given that you're bound to have it already and you're unlikely to be buying the MFSL one.

Leppard really did cop a serving during their success periods. Had that backlash occurred only after Hysteria I could understand, Hysteria featuring far more pop leanings only occasionally nodding back to the heavy stuff (RunRiot Shotgun and GodsOfWar, maybe Women too) most the rest being dressed up candy (albeit top shelf servings ;)

But Pyromania was borderline metal (for its time) and much of it far removed from what later day Leppard... I remember Joe being quoted as saying they had nothing in common with other NWOBHM bands, but that was true!

Didn't they get bottled at Reading in 1980? I think the fallout began firstly with 'Hello America' and then with High N Dry because they toured for so long over there.

Remember the album had a slow start and worked its way up through hard touring and eventually reached a million in the US after half a year or so, THEN it took of and sold about 100.000 copies A WEEK (!) for a couple months, and then it only was embraced in their home country.
