Vinnie Vincent/Frontiers

I know a new album from VV is on many peoples wish list but he is up there with major ego problems. I would wonder if Frontiers would be interested in him. Guest vocalists doing some new tracks. I would also love to hear "Tears" ala his demo version. So much more heartfelt track.

His playing style and antics are pure cliched, over the top, 1980s fodder. He has tracks that were never released officially (the guitars from hell/guitarmaggedon album(s)) and I understood he reworked old tracks. He also said he wanted to rerecord the All Systems Go album the way he intended it to be. No news since then. I hope he will release something. I'm not so sure he will though...
Frontiers could be a nice option though Serafino would have to put much money on the table and let Vinnie Vincent do things the way he wants to.

He's an extremely talented songwriter and guitarist, and even a decent singer. Unfortunately, he's much too problematic. I don't think that Frontiers or any other label would want to take the risk. It's probably been over a decade since Vinnie last showed that he could be responsible. There was a time in my life when he was one of my favorites, and I'll always admire his work, but his music days are probably over, at least publicly.
