After hearing the sample of the Snakecharmer track from their forthcoming cd it reminded me that i missed purchasing the 2011 release from Chris Ousey "Rhyme And Reason". What a brilliant album it is too. I am a huge fan of both Virigina Wolf albums. I think Ousey has a very unique voice. On both records, he is brilliant.

I am less of a fan of this work with Heartland and The Distance. I did not listen to Snakecharmer because I will buy it anyway since I am a Neil Murray Collector.

I understand the comments regarding his voice being sometimes annoying. I like it, but it is true that I cannot listen to it over a long period of time (with the exception of VW).

"Rhyme & Reason" is a very good album overall and Tommy's mark is all over it. It reminds me a lot of the Frederiksen/Denander album of a few years back. Tommy has a knack for writing songs for high-pitched singers. The overall sound of the album is really good, and probably the only Slamer production I like.

I also share Metro's opinion regarding the lyrics.
