Where Are They Now------>

Been cranking out some classic Lillian Axe today, and I got to wondering what Ron Taylor is doing these days. So over to Youtube I went. He's in a couple of bands, 'Lowside' and 'The Daze,' and both bands also feature ex-Lillian Axe bassist, now turned guitarist, Darrin DeLatte. Ron still sounds fucking awesome singing those old songs.

Lowside - Here & Now

Lowside - Ghost Of Winter

Lowside - Dying To Live

Ron Taylor, Darrin DeLatte, Jon Ster - My Number

I then wondered whatever happened to Stephen Shareaux from Kik Tracee. Always loved his voice. Sadly he's wasting his talent in a covers/wedding band called 'The Modern Flashbacks.'

If I were them though, I would leave it to only 3 new songs live and leave the rest of the time for songs that the masses want to hear.

I am thrilled that they are finally going to play the ones that people have been screaming for. We might not like everything they produce or do and are entitled to our own opinions, but we see so many gripes on these noticeboards about so many band members not being entitled use this name or that. Queensryche aren't a favourite of mine, but whether its VH, Foreigner or Journey or whoeever, I'm just glad that some of these guys are still bringing us the music and with brand consciousness ever more a factor, they can use whatever name they wish IMHO, if it gets the music out of the door and in front of our ears
