Eddie Money Rockcandy reissues.

Man am i stoked about finally being able to score a copy of Playing for Keeps at a reasonable price. Christ i've never seen this going for less than $50 used. I'm tempteded to purchase all 4, but i'll wait and checkout playing for keeps. I have all the rest on original release and hate to be purchasing these things for the 3rd time as i had it on vinyl as well.

To bad they didn't remaster and release Where's the Party. It's another one that goes for ridiculous money used.

Re: Eddie Money Rockcandy reissues.

Love No Control and only just got that one on cd the past couple years or so (lots of holes in my cd collection). I have Ready Eddie-think I got it after finding out about it here on the site. Had no idea he had a new record out at the time. It was either that or I read some posts about folks crowing about it and decided to jump in as I didn't expect much all these years later. Also picked up the one with Walk On Water (forget that title). Pretty decent album but I'd stopped getting his stuff by around that album's release. So I needed to go back and get a couple later ones. Pretty big fan here, but not everything he's done..T

That's my least favorite Eddie album. I'll have to give it another listen sometime soon...

I wouldn't say he has any definitive albums. All of them have 4-6 classics on them.

Looking at his best of albums, I would go with Essential or Playlist, but those are just the singles. He's got lots of great album tracks too.

All fab!! The others are pretty darn good tho I've always thought CHB was mostly too mellow. His Love & MOney was very mellow too,but very classy. And the 3-4 rockin' tracks are killer. I rate Where's The Party as one of his subpar albums, actually (save the title cut). T
