Spot on comments from Andrew and my only question is... why so high as 20%? I'm not sure I would have given more than 3 or 4%. I was a long term Yngwie fan but the last 3 albums have been abysmal. Andrew is so right when he says he needs to get some outside input. And then brought him back in for the key change - which is a fantastic bit of drama in a good ballad to start with.
I bet no-one before or since has dared take over in the control room.

He had a popular vocalist with Mats Leven - and fired him after one album.
He's gone for Dio-ish vocalists ever since, but I don't think it works as well - and I don't like Mark Boals on recordings either (live he's a monster).
For me his best vocalists have been JLT and JSS. Goran didn't have the power, and Mike Vescera + Tim Owens are too screamy/shouty for the softer material.
But he seems to want go down the metal route, despite his guitar tone being wrong for the genre. And he can't produce or mix.
