Any news on a new Newman album in 2013? I bloody hope so. I need my fix! Vega should provide my "hey I knows these guys, this is awesome" fix and Lukather should provide my "fuck me this is intensely well written classy rock" fix... but with Newman I feel that I get both! So... any news? P.S - Steve Newman is one guy who I think should release a covers album one of these days too. no problem, your opinion.. my opinion.
I rate Axel Rudi Pell higher than Newman. Left aside the great discographie of ARP but I guess thats is a matter of taste.
Also I dont see where Newman changed his music from album to album (and I have all of them, as well as the ones from ARP) Just think there are no standout songs on his outputs anymore (but that is the same for ARP and Jorn)

None of his albums sound the same, and he's one of the few artists where each album has improved from the one before. Don't insult him by putting him in the same league as Axel Rudi Pell or Jorn! He's a class above that for certain.
