Dirty White Boy - Bad Reputation. I absolutely love this album, wore the tape out when I was kid. Great songs, great production. Hammer On My Heart is such a stonking track. A lot of Giuffria fans slag David's vocals, I think they kick ass. 1989 to about 1992 ish for me were such great years for albums from relatively unknown bands. There's been a lot of backlash at its sheer mellowness and lack of rockers. I gotta admit, 'Message of Love' is 'Separate Ways' turned on its side, and a few of the other songs are in the same mould as some of their older songs (though not nearly as obviously as some tracks on Revelations).

The songs don't get pulled out very much live any more either. 'When You Love a Woman' gets the occasional live airing (but then it was a number 1 single, so it ought to!), 'One More' was played at the Download Festival a few years ago when Neal was looking for heavier songs to get his teeth into.

Would be interested to hear some of the lesser known album cuts like 'If He Should Break Your Heart', 'Still She Cries', 'Forever in Blue' (I know Jeremy got Neal to rehearse this during his tenure) and 'Colours of the Spirit'.
