I know the Everton fans crave success (as they should) but being a Liverpool fan I'll just say to my blue nose friends be careful what you wish for. Kenwright may be appear to be dawdling and holding on but he maybe (well i hope he is) just making sure he gets the right people in. Just look what happened to us when Moores sold to the highest bidder.

I have more faith in the current custodians of my club BUT the massive cock up in the summer of letting a load of attacking players go without bringing in adequate replacements has cost us dear and they should rightly be questioned as to how this was allowed to happen.

Lescott was a good player. Stayed fit and was very solid and consistent - until he was swayed by the money and lost sight of what got him there. Nowadays he's a shadow of the player he could and should be, which is a crying shame.

Arteta? Same as Lescott. Went for the pot of gold and lost focus. Great playmaker at Everton but just an also ran at Arsenal. Another shame as he is a world class player on his day.

The fact is, Dave knows good business when he sees it.....and also knows when a player is losing his touch. He is a VERY smart and intuitive manager. Plus the moral of the story here, for me at least, is it's better to be a bigger fish in a slightly smaller pond.

Moysey really deserves a shot with a mega budget. I just hope he stays at Everton until that happens.
