Family (Roger Chapman, etc.)

I recently read an article about them in Classic Rock, and decided to check them out. I only had one album with Roger Chapman - Streetwalkers' Vicious But Fair - which I thought was OK. I bought a live album (BBC) and I must say that it is not good at all. It has all the hits, but I cannot get into them. Chapman's voice is a very acquired taste but I don't mind it. What I mind though are the songs: uninspired. Glad I got the CD for nothing.

LOL I wish I had been 18 in the early 70's... But I was more like 6 years old... already cute but still to young to party! :-)

I don't dislike Chapman's voice. I just thought that the songs were rather weak.

'Music In A Doll's House' is a wonderful early progressive classic, I think - but you still have to get past that voice!!

Paul
