O/T Computer Help Wanted

I have ordered a new PC which is being delivered in a week and I need to take some of my stuff off this current one before I get rid of it.
Is there a quick and easy way to do it ? I have some music and videos. Also, I want to take Lotus smart suite as the new PC doesn't have the full package eg Powerpoint.
I'm not an expert so any easy to follow help would be really appreciated.

Get a SSD drive, that's where most
> of the overhead is.

A virus checker shouldn't be that resource heavy that you need an SSD to take advantage of it ! And it's RAM and processor heavy anyway, which has little to do with how fast the transfer rates on your HDD are.

Avira, Avast, AVG and MSE are all fine...and free !
