Monte Pitman of Prong was in Madonna's band, their's footage of them playing Pantera's Primal Concrete Sledge. He's also played for Mel C, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Adam Lambert.

I did read that Take That's backing band are from a prog outfit, who managed to squeeze Yes tunes into the segueways between songs. Forget their name.
