Was wondering if any of you guys ever met anyone from the WHITESNAKE camp? Anyone from the late 70s up till the present day? Met the whole band (minus Coverdale who went offstage into a bus to drive back to the hotel unlike all the others...) at Bang Your Head 2006 (?) and I must say, everybody was very down to earth and no attitude at all. Reb Beach, Tommy Aldrige and Doug Aldrich seem to enjoy meeting people and Uriah Duffy at the time was a fun guy.
Had planned a Meet & Greet with the two guitarists for the fans and it was denied prior to the event. Memories are slightly hazy but I recall Coverdale and Vandenberg in particular made sure they signed everything for the massed crowd, chatted away happily thanking everyone for showing up and couldn't have been more amenable. He then asked if he could move my jacket from the bench and plonked himself down next to me for 5 mins, while he caught up with the guys...and that was it. It was very bizarre to be sitting right next to Mr. Coverdale himself...

And that was it. We didn't see him for the rest of the tour. mind you it was only 3 dates I think...
