I don't envy the band's trek from Wolvo to Newcastle, it's gonna be squeaky bum time for me trying to get back from the northern tundra of Rotherham to the Black Country for the Robin show and that ain't half the distance - unless they are flying?!.....whats thats saying about buses.....

Good call Woody, my introduction to Danny - great album.
I own it on vinyl, original cd, cd reissue with (bootleg quality) live cd & the Wilderness Of Mirrors demo cd version.
Also have Heaven Tonight as gatefold 7" (and also the version with Fin on vocals).

Have you heard any of Danny's solo albums? 'Soldiers & Sailor's on the Riverside', 'Fearless' & 'Traveller' are all well worth picking up, especially if you like the latest Tyke album. It's not sterotypical 80's rock, its a far more mature sound with deeper lyrics - I'm a big fan of his solo work - you can pick up his first two albums in a double cd pack called 'Reprise' from www.hardrockhouse.com

'Is That All There Is' is one of my fav DV tracks from his first album, but Fearless is probably my favourite overall album of the three....

If you like them it's worth checking out his Live albums 'Forever Live' and 'The Road Less Travelled'.

If you like pure AOR the From The Inside albums are worth a listen, the self titled debut has a great rocked up version of Leann Rimes 'Suddenly'! the second album 'Visions' is even stronger i'm particularly fond of the Martin brothers (VEGA) tracks on this one...

You should probably get your hands on Waysted's 'Save Your Prayers' purely for 'Heaven Tonight'.....if you've not heard this track go straight to youtube and look it up......NOW!....

Always been a big fan of Danny's, he's passionate about his music he puts a lot of heart and soul into his songs - frivolous is never a word you'll hear to describe any DV written songs. Yeah we all like fun throw away tunes, but DV writes songs that stick with you for a lifetime!
