Maybe they're just giving Eric and Magnus a rest? I think there are way too many of these studio and side projects, as a listener I don't build up any kind of connection with the assembled musicians, as they aren't a band, they're just a bunch of musicians in a studio.

It's a bit like Jamie Oliver announcing he is going to publish a new recipe book but only after members of the public send him some recipes! The first one had moments of genius (Cross the Line is one of THE BEST songs from the last 10 years IMO), but album 2 gathers dust. Nothing terribly wrong with it, but nothing memorable, too formulaic...didn't do it for me.
