Sometimes, found the opera vocals to be a bit over the top for my liking. Never took the time to listen to an entire album though. The new Xandria album was recommended to me on amazon and I've really enjoyed it, especially "blood on my hands" and "call of the wind." I went and listened to clips from their previous albums and this is significantly different. Doesn't even sound like the same band, but I'm not much of a fan of goth type stuff so it will most likely be my favorite output of theirs. The clips however have made me curious to hear the other albums.

Good lead guitarist too - something I haven't heard from Nightwish (not that I've listened to too much of their material, I may have missed it).
