Really--that's IT?! One of his very best works and he himself promoted the snot out of that single with fan interaction/singing the chorus and being ON the damn cd--even being LISTED in liner notes that you're on it! Surely sales have gotten better in the last couple weeks,but...yIKES!! Depressing how the thought of zero radio support really IS the death knell for 'our' rock music anymore. Pretty amazing anyone still records anymore--and..lucky for US!. T]]></description>

That's £51,000 at retail. Take off the tax, your recording costs, advertising, touring expenses...<br />There's nothing left at the end of it. The niche bands that we all love on here will be lucky to sell 1000-2000 copies of album in a lot of cases.<br />Sad but true.]]></description>

By comparison saw Vega on Friday and sound was terrible.<br /><br />The RD set was pretty much 50/50 split between the debut and Rapture, with only 'Animal' from the second? cd. Very enjoyable live.<br /><br />On a side note, chatted with Pete Fry once regarding cd sales and he mentioned that as weel received as 'High Gear' was it only sold about 4K copies.<br /><br />Cheers<br /><br />Mark H]]></description>

Cds sell wholesale between £4.00-5.50, so do the maths on the margins. That's only one promo outlet.]]></description>

I like the album, was listening to it again yesterday, but to me it sounds more like a pop album as opposed to a pop rock album - like a Sharleen Spiteri solo album or such like.
