I am not a fan of Aerosmith. Have a few of their stuff and the only album I like is "Pump". This said, I lost quite a bit of respect for Tyler after having seen him on American Idol. Not because he was on AI, but because of the very poor quality of his comments. It's like the guy knows 50 words only in English. There was no depth, nothing really relevant in anything he said. I don't like JLo but at least she could voice her opinion in a constructive, sometimes critical way. That covers 95% of the bands we both listen to regularly. I'm not surprised. Both are very good albums but they are KISS albums. If they recorded the greatest piece of music ever plenty of people would still slag them just because it's KISS.

Rather ironic then that when I saw Aerosmith in Hyde Park, their support Chris Cornell blew their seemingly choreographed set off stage! (in my opinion of course...)

I got impression it was "at this point, I walk to this side of the stage and hold my microphone stand out, after which I etc etc" Seemed no spontenaity (spelling?) at all and very much going through the motions.

(and yes - i do appreciate the choreographed part could apply to KISS as well before anyone says so..)
