That's what defines a great band or a band that knows how to use a recording studio.<br /><br />As the 'Musician's Union' has advertised a number of times (regardless of context), &quot;Keep Music Live!&quot;]]></description>

However, the musicians on stage have to be playing their instruments and singing.<br /><br />On the other hand, saw Crue last year who met the above criteria and would gladly have accepted all of them being taped........... It's more than the sum of the parts and the feel is just different (warts n all) when everyone is literally playing their part.<br /><br />I get why bands use some tapes but fact remains, it stops being an entirely LIVE gig.]]></description>

The backing birds are for show as much as they may also be singing live.<br />Motley shows are great though, so it shouldnt be a worry, it's a show. And they want it to have max inpact]]></description>

For me this is the reason modern music will never be the 70's where songs were written with live in mind. So a 4 piece didn't sound like a 12 piece live. I rather see what Mötley Crüe does...they have the 2 girls do the backups. Bon Jovi has extra musicians on stage so you see where the other guitar parts are coming from.]]></description>

Hardly anyone noticed though so I'm not too fussed.....and anyone who did was distracted by chicks on stage or crowd surfers landing on their head. Ralph Saenz was certainly hitting some high notes.]]></description>
