Kudos to Rock Candy Records!

I just wanted to say thank you to Rock Candy for releasing remastered versions of Quiet Riot's Condition Critical [which desperately needed a remastering], Fastway [fantastic book and bonus tracks] and LA Guns debut and Cocked & Loaded. I requested remastered versions of the Quiet Riot and LA Guns releases not long ago and was very surprised that they were coming so soon. Thank you Rock Candy for the wonderful reissues and keep up the good work.

Quiet Riot catches a lot of flak, but I really liked the band. I remember Kevin DuBrow talking about how he hated politics and preachy messages in his music - music should be fun, and make you feel good. And that's what Quiet Riot was about. They were colorful, they had a sense of humor, they had some good tunes and they played to their limited strengths. Much like Twisted Sister. And as a result, I've logged a lot of hours listening their joyous noise.

LOL As I'm typing this the hard rock playlist that's been playing for the last hour or so has just cued up "Party All Night"! Too funny..

Anyway, I ordered 'Condition Critical' and 'QR III' yesterday, and I'll be ordering the Shortino album as well, I suppose.

I have a Japanese pressing that sounds fantastic. The booklet should be interesting though. Hopefully they've interviewed more than one band member.

I have it on cd and it sounds fantastic and don't think it needs to be remastered.
