Haven't really heard anything on Richie Sambora's new CD. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions to share? If I can find it, I'll be picking it up today. I had one song (a ballad I think) playing in the background, and it sounded like Jon Bon Jovi singing the verse and Richie singing the chorus, but it's not... it's all Richie, his voice just sounds different on each track.
The first song sounds like some weird old blues song, but it's too buried in effects, goes on too long and is mis-placed... if it was stripped back and shortened and stuck on the end, it wouldn't seem half as bad... Perhaps!
But overall, it's diverse, well produced and deeply personal. Here's hoping he doesn't take another 14 years between solo albums!

I loved his first solo album.

2nd one took some getting used to but it grew on me.
