I really like the first two albums, some awesome songs on them. I think that's why I'm a little disappointed that her next album is a covers album but to be honest, most of those songs I'm not familiar with so I'm sure to enjoy it anyhow! Good to see she's still writing her own material for album #4....]]></description>

I also think Issa's vocals suit a straight ahead commerical rock sound rather than the dark edged stuff she has been doing.<br /><br />I know she's gonna get grief for doing a covers album, something i think she's already preapred for. If you listen she is working on material for a new orignal album and i hope this album is a pointer in the direction of where she is going musically.<br /><br />It's gonna be really interesting seeing how she does on some of these songs, most of these songs are already well beloved by the melodic rock community.....can't what to hear her versions' of 'Power Over Me', 'Surrender', 'State Of Love' &amp; 'Wherever You Run'.<br /><br />Woody]]></description>

I think Issa is one of the few from our genre who could endure mainstream success, with the right songs and promotion.<br />But, I still really want to hear Jimi Jamison singing Power Over Me! If Frontiers have the rights to the Atlantic songs, then please finally have Jimi release his versions (or re-record them for his next album).<br />But yeah, the Issa album is another must for me. I believe her hubby is from York.<br /><br />I'm not sure of the marketing strategy, but Frontiers did well with the &quot;From The Inside&quot; albums with Danny Vaughn singing lesser known covers. The main commercial markets would probably react better to a better known cover for a lead single and judging by the ease with which Issa sails through these songs, her technique could probably handle just about anything.]]></description>

Still, the clips sound great! Nice production.<br /><br />I viewed the promo clip on YT though and am puzzled! Issa is Norweigian but she speaks English with a &quot;North of Watford gap&quot; accent, generally means (i) she's spent significant time there or (ii) has a Geordie (? not terribly good with accents...!) partner (lucky them!). Can anyone enlighten?!]]></description>
