Tango Down - Identity Crisis

Nice surprise in my mailbox today.

I am interested to see how Andrew scores this. It is pure melodic rock goodness!! Sonically it is near perfect. Guitars, awesome vocal harmonies, and drum sound is superb. Guys, this is one of those releases that needs to be noticed..good from start to finish. I wasn't completely sold on the single (still not sure it should be the lead off track on the disc), but holy crap the mp3/youtube, etc does it no justice. It isn't the heaviest song by far, but I found myself singing it all day today. Its pretty damned catchy!
Mr Reece is somewhat of a mr.com board superstar and rightfully so. I am a huge fan of Bangalore Choir and Davids work, but this is probably his best in my opinion. I cant find anything wrong with it. The guys did a damn fine job on Identity Crisis and I hope they get their due for it. I cant get over how great it sounds.
Standout tracks for me : Dream Child, Enlighten Me, Hearts Catch Fire, Calling Out and Back To Life.
Who has it...? What do you guys think?

I liked Reece/Kronlund, but this is worlds better IMO. No disrespect to the above releases of course, they are great. Tango Down sound much edgier/crisper. Give it a listen!

I think IMHO that this is the best produced Kivel release. I have had it for a couple of days now and have spent a lot of time listening to it. The first track and last track bookend it perfectly and are my favorite songs at present, especially when played loud!

Fav. tracks: Crying to Me, Magic Pudding, Alone, Enlighten Me
