I always wished that Skynyrd would veer back more in that direction. Always thought that LS post Ronnie was always going for a harder edged sound. They cut back on that a bit with the newbie and it suits them much better. Not to mention,Johnny sounds great on the newbie. It amost reminds more of .38 Special in some ways. T]]></description>

It's a 2LP live I record I breathed and loved.<br />38 Special - Special Delivery. This still stands high in my book, before they went the AOR route I loved and appreciated as well.<br />The Outlaws - Bring it Back Alive - that version of Green Grass and High Tides is better than Free Bird IMHO. The guy cannot do wrong in my book. The original Blackfoot line-up is unbeatable in that genre and &quot;Highway Song&quot; is in my top 10 songs of all time.<br /><br />The joint solo albums from Johnny and Donnie Van Zant are quite good too.]]></description>
